Unbelievably it’s Autumn. It seems like 5 minutes ago the world changed and we were locking down and that was March!
Anyway, I was on the phone to my mum the other day she was trying to keep busy and was making autumn wreaths using tutorials from YouTube and she said they were really easy so I thought I would give it a go with some Autumn decorating. She proudly attached this one to her front door in Wales
If you aren’t up for making the base wreath itself and just want to decorate it you can find lots of different ones in craft shops. It’s then a case of buying some florist wire or a glue gun to attach anything from pine cones to fake or real flowers or leaves from the garden.
These are the pumpkins I added to my sideboard before the Christmas decorations take over
I found some lovely options online and also some decorating with pumpkins. If you remember the post about chalk paint and the many things you can use it for then you can add painting pumpkins to the list. It means you can create colour schemes that aren’t necessarily autumn wreath colours like pastels.
